| Although I picked up a guitar long before I ever wrote a piece of code, it is my development work that has consistently paid the bills (while the guitar obsession continually depletes whatever is left over). As I searched for another Vantage semi-hollow like I used to own, I came up with the idea of building a website that puts guitar sellers in touch with buyers. |

| That was in early 1999 and for all intensive purposes, the site took off in a big way. Enter the bumbling efforts of the local telco and their inability to troubleshoot a problem that blocked my servers from the rest of the Internet. Top rankings on the major search engines dropped rapidly and then disappeared altogether. Two months later, my sites came back online, but to non-existent traffic. |

| In the intervening years, I was unable to devote the time necessary to bring this site back into it's former glory and it remained just another what-if project. With a new business started in 2005 and more effort put into internal projects, Six String Search now becomes a viable project again. |
